The Sarno Extension is a dirt road that extends from the Interstate out into Lake Washington. It is surrounded by shallow marshlands on both sides, and the annual Airboat Races are held there.

People go out there to fish, launch airboats, and some drive their trucks out there at night to build fires and drink beer.

We walk Harley and Lily out there sometimes. It's a nice long road to walk the dogs on, but no shade, so it's too hot during the summer.
