Ducks
We don't often see ducks in our area of the marsh, so I can't really identify what type of ducks these are. Going by the photos in my Audubon Society Guide to Wetlands, these ducks resemble the "Mexican" Duck, but, according to the guide, "Mexican" Ducks are a non-migratory subspecies of Mallard that live in Northeastern Mexico and adjacent parts of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

Maybe this pair got lost...one time we saw a Pelican sitting in a tree in the marsh. You can't tell me he wasn't lost, so it happens!
